Nice

So, as you know from facebook, I'm pregnant. And Vito is still nursing, which isn't really a problem except that I am starving all the time. I eat at least 7 full size meals a day. The good thing is that I mostly eat healthy food (except when I don't). So where this is going is that this week someone told me (while I was eating) that he "heard somewhere" that you don't actually need to eat extra calories when you are pregnant. And this person just happened to be significantly overweight, not that I would ever care except why oh why would you tell someone who is PREGNANT and NURSING that in a matter-of-fact voice if you have never been pregnant or nursing and if you apparently have a problem with overeating yourself, as if I am the one overeating, and if you have absolutely no real source or information. It's like telling someone how to parent when you've never been one! I had 5,000 things to say but held my tongue. Just thought some of my other female friends (or males with pregnant or nursing wives) might enjoy my flabbergastedness since you know about the unsatiable hunger.
